KeepItEven ("the app") is a co-parenting management tool for scheduling, shared expenses, and tasks between two parents. This page explains what information we collect, how it's used, and how you can control it.

What we collect

• Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We do not collect or store passwords — sign-in is handled entirely by Google.
• Family data you enter: custody schedule, shared expenses, tasks, settlement records, and information about your children (name, birth date) that you choose to add.

How it's used

• To operate the app's core features: schedule display, expense tracking and settlement calculation, task management.
• To notify your co-parent by email about changes you make (e.g. a new expense, a schedule swap request, a task) — sent via our email provider, Brevo, using only the email address needed for that message.
• To send you a reminder email ahead of the monthly settlement date.

Who can see your data

Family data (schedule, expenses, tasks, children's information) is visible only to you and the co-parent linked to your family record — never to unrelated users, and never sold or shared with advertisers or data brokers.

Where it's stored

Data is stored on Google Cloud Platform (Firestore) and processed by a backend service (Cloud Run), both operated by us. Transactional emails are sent via Brevo, a third-party email delivery service — only the recipient's email address and message content needed for that specific email is shared with them.

Your control over your data

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This permanently removes your family's data — schedule, expenses, tasks, children's information, and settlement history — along with your account itself. This action is irreversible.

Children's information

The app lets a parent record their own children's names and birth dates as part of managing their custody schedule. This information is entered and controlled by the parent (an adult account holder), not by the children themselves, and is visible only within that family's own account.
